Bianca M. Gonzalez

As an art appraiser, advisor and collection management specialist, Bianca is passionate and focused on learning, researching and documenting a collection's history for her clients.

 

Over the past decade, Bianca has developed an expertise in primary and secondary art markets, sales of fine art, and engaged in numerous consulting and valuation assignments for private collectors, art acquisitions, and non-for-profit organization.

After completing a Masters degree in Art Business, Bianca began working at Artnet Auctions, an art market platform that sells photographs, prints, and contemporary art to clients across the globe. As an auction cataloguer, Bianca managed an inventory of various art objects from paintings to photographs and worked directly with top art collectors. Bianca has wide ranging experience in various aspects of arts management, having held positions in several art institutions, including private appraisal firms, contemporary art galleries, museums, international art magazine, public art agencies and online auction platforms in Miami and New York. Bianca has extensive knowledge of the art business industry; from working in research and development, cataloging, valuations, negotiating to curating, project management and administrative services. Bianca is a generalist appraiser with a concentration in Modern and Contemporary Art.

Bianca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Art History and Mass Communications, and a Master of Arts degree in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Bianca is fluent in Spanish and has completed ISA's Core Course in Appraisal Methodology and is up to date on USPAP requirement.
